Little Landon Sweetie

Dont get me wrong...Landon will crawl into Zoe's kennel. He must think it's a playhouse! He is so smart and puts the phone up to his ear. I absolutely love him and am so blessed to have him.

Here he comes

Landon loves his bike he got for Christmas. He is such a cutie!!!! Oh my goodness...one big chunk of cuteness! I love this child so much. Anyways, he needs a little help getting on his bike but he can kind of push off the his feet and move himself around on it. Today he went on the tile and I was pushing the bike around. He was loving how much faster he could go on the tile opposed to the carpet. I had to hurry and get my camera to get a couple shots....look how much he enjoyed it!

Seems like...

It almost seems like there is no end in site. I feel kind of discouraged that Daniel still has not been able to find a job! I mean he's looked and looked and looked, he's gone to interviews, but everyone turns him down...that is...if they even give him a chance. What the heck is the deal?! This economy has got to turn around sometime. It's been about 13 months now for Daniel and he really wants to go back to work. Please pray for our family!!

Disappearance

On Friday, my little baby Landon disappeared! He didnt really disappear, but his little happy self did!
On Friday afternoon Landon became lethargic, clingy, and sleepy. He would spit out regular food and mainly only wanted to nurse! I didnt know what in the world was going on. I called my mom and the next day she was able to see exactly how Landon was acting. Things just were not normal. Sometimes he would even get down on the floor, crawl a little bit, then lay flat down as if he was just going to take a nap on his belly right then and there on the floor.
Now, what is really weird to me is that normally Landon is very active and on Friday and Saturday he was anything but that! He wanted to lay on me, not play, and was burning up!!!
Saturday was my sister, Becca's going away party. Daniel, Landon and I packed up and went over to my parents house and Landon quietly sat in my arms and eventually, again, fell asleep amid all the noise from the many people in the house. Once Daniel and I went home we took Landon's temperature since his head seemed hotter than ever. He had a temperature of about 102!!! Poor little guy. I wouldnt want to do anything either if I felt like that!
The good news is that by tonight Landon seems like he is back to normal. I will still probably try to get him to the Doctor, just for a check up to make sure that everything is ok though since he had a temperature for 2-3 days! Yikes! I dont like it when he is hurting :(

Fun and a weird day

Landon was able to have some fun playing with different friends this week. On Wednesday I took Landon over to my parents house because one of their neighbors watch a little boy named Trevor while his mom is at work. Trevor is only 1 day older than Landon, so it's fun that Landon has a friend so close to his age! Trevor can already stand and walk a little tiny bit but Landon sure had fun standing and pushing his walker with him. Landon also has a push walker so he already knew how that little walker worked. It was so cute to see Landon on one side of the push bar and Trevor on the other side of the push bar, pushing that little walker across the floor. I was disappointed that I didnt have my blackberry or my camera on me to take a picture...:( Bummer!
Then on Thursday I went over to my friend, Trista's house so that I could see her and so that Landon could see Manny (he is exactly 3 months older than Landon). Manny may be younger but he is almost the exact same size as Landon! Landon enjoyed playing over there and maybe with a little inspiration from Trevor from the day before, Landon suddenly stood up (just barely against Trista's leg) and stood for about 10-15 seconds!!!! I sat there clapping and cheering for him as my friend Trista just sat there looking at me. I had to tell her...HE DOESNT DO THIS!! and continued...YAY LANDON!!! I dont think Landon cared too much that I was cheering because he mainly just wanted Trista's cut up potatoes that she was eating. It was just so amazing to see him lift from a squating position and just stand there...not holding on to anything!!! I was so proud of him!
Today was just a weird day. I didnt know what was wrong. Maybe nothing but Landon's head seemed kind of hot to me. Ever since Daniel and I really started making Landon sleep the whole night in his room he has been pretty "movey" when I am trying to nurse him and most of the time I have to put him in his crib so he will take a nap during the day. Today was not like that. He woke up at 9 am (just like usual) but around 11 he seemed like he was tired and needed a nap. I sat down and nursed him and instead of moving his body all around he nursed himself to sleep. Wow...it's been a while since he's done that. Then he woke up and after only about 1 1/2 hours...he nursed himself to sleep again! What was going on?! His head felt warm and he was very clingy so I gave him some tylenol in case he just was not feeling well. He fell asleep again only about another 1 1/2 hours after he woke up the second time so I guess he was kind of tired. Please pray that he isnt getting sick.
We ended up ending the day by going to Toys R Us! We got our first Zhu Zhu pet. Landon sat and looked at it a bit but really just wanted to go to bed. We'll see if he wants to play with it more tomorrow.

I want to look like this again!!! Minus the pregnant belly. .....Now the task will be trying to get my friend that cuts and colors my hair to come down from Colorado

Our baby is now 10 months old! He is growing up so fast! It is such a blessing to be together and watch him grow each and every day. He is such a little cuddler and I love it.
