Changes

We are hoping for some changes for our little McFamily. We decided to move so Daniel and I worked for hours yesterday, while my mom took care of Landon, trying to get things done on the house so we can put it up for sale. This is the best time to move with houses being cheaper and I want to get out before Landon starts moving more because we have a pool in the backyard. A mother's worst nightmare! Besides the pool being a fear it is also a pain and Daniel and I never want to live in another home that has a pool. I have been very grateful for this home that we live in, but it's time to move on. Daniel and I both want better for Landon. We do not want to raise him in this area. So let's hope and pray for the best!
In the mean time Landon is still on the mend for his ear infection, which means I have been sleeping out in the living room on the couch while he sleeps in his swing at night. He has not wanted to sleep in his crib since this ear infection came on. I am hoping he will heal soon and also hoping he will go back to his better sleeping so I can sleep in an actual bed again. My mom has been so great and has been offering to help me almost everyday because she knows my sleep has been kind of crappy. She is so kind and generous...I dont know what I'd do without my mom.
So, a little story for ya....Wednesday I took Landon to the Doctor. He got his prescriptions and Daniel and I started him on them right away. I realized that even though he had his medicine he still did not want to be in the crib (I was hoping that the medicine would bring relief to him and better sleep for both of us). So I decided, well I guess he's going to have to sleep propped up in his swing. I brought him out to the living room and around 2 am things seemed to take a turn. The swing broke!!!! It didnt break as in falling to the ground, but it seems that the motor didnt want to make the swing "swing" anymore. I'm like...GREAT! Since the batteries had just been replaced the day before I knew it was the swing saying goodbye. Well, we got through the night anyway with off and on sleep and when morning came the motor decided to work again and swing Landon. Shortly thereafter, though, it died again! In the process of the swing dying I had been looking to buy another swing on Craigslist in case it were to die. I figured it was very possible it would do it again...and sure enough right when I was looking for another one it stopped working and Landon's swinging came to a stop. Luckily I found another Fisher Price swing fairly quick. It is newer, quieter, and can be run through an outlet or the pricey way- with batteries. The swing was practically brand new and the people were selling it for only $40! I quickly sent Daniel out to get it because I was desperate to get another swing for Landon. The swing is Landon and my sleep crutch. So yay!!! We have a swing again. Landon seems to like his new swing and we are very grateful for it.
I hope all of you are doing well and that your kids are staying safe and healthy! Love to my family and friends ........ :)
