Little cute boy

Spikey hair boy...due to his cradle cap :(

Our little cute boy really keeps us busy these days. He has become a pretty good crawler, but doesnt want to crawl too too much. He'll crawl and then sit on his butt, then maybe crawl a little more and sit on his butt. He is too cute! He loves pulling himself up and standing. He can't get enough of that! He wants to be an adult, in that he wants to stay up late, he wants to stand, and he wants to eat our food. He has already tried mozzarella cheese, yogurt, and peanut butter. I dont give him much of these foods, of course, but his body doesnt reject them nor does he seem to have a problem with them so I let him try little bits.
His nights have been a little rocky lately because he had caught a cold and get's to sleep with momma on his nights of recovery. Now that he is better we are trying to retrain him to sleep in his crib and it hasnt been going very smooth but we are all managing this transition.
I have come to a place where I have learned how to sleep on the couch sitting up and have mastered it to the point that I enjoy taking a nap with Landon, during the day, sitting up on the couch but I also have come to the understanding that I cannot do this forever and have to make sure Landon knows how to sleep in his crib. I have just realized the importance of this because if I dont start now, it will be incredibly hard later to try to tell him that he can't sleep in mommy's arms forever. The boppy is only so big and cannot rest a 2 year old.
This brings up a good point! With my worries in the past (that I may not make it to a year of breast feeding) it looks like I am going to make it to my goal!!! We are 4/6 th's of the way through his first year! Only 4 months left to go and I should be free of breastfeeding. I think this may be hard for Landon when mommy can't give him his breast friend anymore, but I have already come up with an idea on how to get him used to cow's milk. I will pump enough milk in order to be able to mix it with cow's milk! I thought this was a good idea...we'll see how it works in 4 months!
Well anyways, that will be all for now. Each day we have more love for our little cute boy! We cannot help but smile when he smiles and laughs. Too precious!
